As the name of the exhibition EXPOSED: black box & crystal ball suggests, the concept of the exhibition is two fold.

The first part, ˇ®EXPOSED', relates to the site and manner of the way the works will be shown to the public. Instead of being shown in a set place with in what one would call a normal exhibition surrounding, the works will be shown in large LCD and Plasma display screens placed in cafes and coffee shops in the busy London W1 area, in addition to the County Hall and Harrods.

At these sites, the works will be screened at specific dates and hours during the busy times of these areas. Throughout the screening periods, thus, the work will be ˇ®exposed' to the public, basically taking video art to the public rather than attempting to entice the public to come to the exhibition place or cinemas via various marketing schemes.

This project will showcase works by twenty video artists, from Korea , China , Taiwan , Australia , UK , Denmark and Norway . Not only in terms of region, but artists will also vary in range of age, experience and recognition, some will be up-and-coming, some more experienced and well known. For some, it will be the first time their works will be shown in Europe, whilst others are known in the international settings. All are united by their magical and surreal character of their works.
