I am a SuperStar Super Shy Girl (2002)

"Asian culture is like a little girl.", My work is concerned about girlhood. girls are both child and adult, both girl and woman.

They are like mystery pink planet which you can see space trip in unfixed university. Like color pink

The colour pink is heavily featured in my work because for this reason - the innocence of white combining with the sexuality of red to create a shade that is at the same time sensual and childish. These contradictions are represented in my work, my culture and myself.? My work tries to find the balance between these contradictions - between girl and woman, between East and West, between the mundane and the exceptional, between the internal and the external.

More than anything, my work is informed by a sense of paradox and the balances (and mis-) that can arise from that. 'I am a SuperStar SuperShy Girl' (2002), for example, juxtaposes external confidence with internal reticence.? 'Right my Pyre' (2002) explores the dissonances between the West and the East, the superstar and the nobody. "The day Today (2002)" shows black hair- Asian me and blonde hair- westernized the fantasy, the reality and me.
